This electronic mail listserv provides a daily forum for researchers, advocates, and service providers to discuss research and policy issues and to access and share important news, information, and research tools related to welfare and poverty. In operation since 1995, the listserv has more than 850 members.
This listserv offers the opportunity for scholars, advocates, and other interested individual s to share their research, advocacy strategies, and questions on welfare and poverty in individual states or at national and international levels. Discussion can also be related to other issues, such as domestic violence or health. Information such as calls for papers, conference information, fact sheets, and legislative updates are also welcome.

Subscribe to the list by sending the message: SUB WELFAREM-L full name to the listserv address: welfarem-l@hermes.circ.gwu.edu
Use your full name, not your e-mail address. The listserv software can read your email address automatically. When you sign up you will receive a welcome message providing further instructions for the listserv.
