Watch-Dr. Heidi Hartmann appeared on “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” to discuss the rise in women breadwinners. According to a Pew Research Center report, 40 percent of households with children under the age of 18 have female breadwinners, up from 11 percent in 1960. While women in the United States are entering the labor force in record numbers, they still face a wage ratio of 77 cents to the dollar for full-time, year-round work. 05/29/2013
