The Eighth International Women's Policy Research Conference brought together more than 700 policymakers, advocates, researchers, and practitioners from the academic, labor, corporate, government, non-profit and media worlds to discuss new research findings, current trends, and policy strategies relating to women's lives in the United States and throughout the world. More than 60 sessions and over 200 presenters addressed a range of issues related to women's economic, political, health, and social status. Over 38 U.S. States and 32 countries were represented, and participants widely praised the conference content.
