Youngmin Yi joined IWPR in 2010 as the Mariam K. Chamberlain Fellow after graduating from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and French. Her interest in the intersection of economics, public policy, and gender equity was solidified during her time as an intern at the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, and has continued to grow since joining the IWPR research team. In addition to providing research assistance in many of our research areas, including paid sick days, retirement security, and policy impacts on breastfeeding, Youngmin coordinates the Institute’s internship and fellowship program. | ![]() |
