Claudia Williams joined IWPR in August 2007 as a Mariam K. Chamberlain Fellow. Prior to joining IWPR, Claudia was a Research Assistant at the Program of Migration Affairs at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where she also completed her BS in Economics. She is interested in doing research on gender, unpaid work and care, feminist social policies, poverty and development. Claudia uses quantitative and qualitative methods to assist in the production of IWPR research related to women’s well-being and economic security. Claudia likes working on women's issues and living in DC; she is currently working to complete an MA in Public Policy with a concentration in Women Studies at the George Washington University.
